Public Speaking 2026 (Virtual Competition)

Description

Public speaking competition is designed to bring out the talents of presentation and answering skills. You will be judged on predefined marking criteria.

Group 5 & 6

Structure of competition:

You must choose a topic from the following and prepare a presentation for that topics. On the competition day you will be given the opportunity to do a presentation and the questions and answer session follows.

Total time of the competition: 9 mins

 

Individual presentation: 3 – 4 mins. The competitor could make use of the available computer facilities to present a slide show to support their presentation. (Organising team will not take any responsibility for this)

Questions and answer: 5 mins. The judges will ask you questions on this chosen topic. You must answer the questions.

THEME SCOPE

A Dialogue Between Science and Quran. For centuries, humanity has pondered the mysteries of the universe, seeking answers to life’s most profound questions.

The Quran, a divine revelation, offers a unique perspective on the cosmic universe, human nature, and the purpose of existence. As scientific knowledge advances, a fascinating dialogue emerges we between the timeless wisdom of the Quran and the cuttingedge discoveries of modern science.

This exploration delves into the intricate relationship between these two seemingly disparate domains. We will examine the Quranic verses that allude to scientific concepts, from the origins of the universe to the intricacies of human biology. By adjoining these verses with the findings of contemporary research, we aim to illuminate the harmonious coexistence of faith and reason.

 

How to prepare the presentation ?

There are three types of titles given below, you must analyze the theme based on theses three types of titles. You must select at least one title to prepare your presentation and support your viewpoint.

The best title for your presentation depends on your specific viewpoint and the focus of your presentation. If you want to emphasize the harmony between science and the Quran, you might choose a title from Type A or Type C. If you want to spark discussion and debate, a title from Type B might be more appropriate.
